Chelsey and Stephen Diaz of The Rainmaker Family are seeking a resourceful, detail-oriented, full-time Director of Finance to manage, streamline, and optimize the company budget, bookkeeping, and cash flow. This pivotal role will directly influence their financial trajectory by maximizing efficiency, optimizing costs, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate will transition The Rainmaker Family’s financial operations from dependency on fractional support to a robust, in-house financial department, setting the stage for potential evolution into a CFO role. The Rainmaker Family helps moms launch online businesses that create time freedom and abundance across all aspects of their life. You are perfect for this role if you have 5-10 years of proven experience in financial management, where you’ve worked with companies making eight figures or more and have played a pivotal role in their income growth. You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, excellent leadership abilities, and proficiency in financial software like Quickbooks, advanced Excel, and GAAP. A CPA or CMA certification is a plus (but not required). You are solution-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setting. You have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. You love finding and eliminating “leaky buckets” and uncovering ways to further optimize financial resources. You have strong leadership skills and excel at collaborating with diverse groups of people. Responsibilities (tasks associated with the role) Financial Strategy and Management Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making and growth. Create and manage strategic application of cost center (shared expenses). Provide foresight, guidance and strategies to grow revenue. Cost Reduction and Efficiency Optimization Implement cost-saving measures and identify efficiency improvements, consolidating tools and services where possible to enhance financial performance. Financial Reporting and Compliance Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards, managing all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping. Review accounting procedures for accuracy. Budget review and reconciliation of yearly and monthly financials. Provide analysis between budget and financials. Cash Flow and Capital Management Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and oversee capital finance initiatives to support company operations and investments. Tax Strategy and Compliance Coordinate with external advisors to ensure tax efficiency and compliance. Proactively discuss tax management on corporate and individual levels. Reconcile all Profit & Loss and accounting documents submitted to financial institutions.. Ensure timely submittals to financial institutions and CEO Conduct internal audits. Team Leadership and Development Build and lead a finance team, establishing strong financial infrastructure and practices that can scale. Stakeholder Engagement Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals. Pay is salaried and $120K-$140K (based on experience). Benefits include: 10 PTO days (80 hours) per calendar year, 5 sick days (40 hours) per calendar year, 11 company paid holidays (88 hours) for 2024 calendar year, and Time Freedom Benefits stipend for services like laundry or house cleaning.
