Job Title: Cognos/ETL Developer Job Location: Quantico, VA Overview: Abacus Technology is seeking a Data Warehouse and Analytics Developer to provide technical support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) in QuanticoThis is a full-time positionMajor Duties & Responsibilities: --- Support Cognos program systems, including installations, configuration, patching, upgrading, and performance tuning for Cognos Analytics application/web servers in a DoD environment. --- Assist with customer requirements for Cognos Data Modules, Reports and Dashboards. --- Provide application security vulnerability mitigation and STIG management for Cognos and IBM software. --- Ensure that all application deliverables and systems comply with applicable DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) or Security Requirements Guides. --- Assist with IBM Cognos Security and Administration functions. --- Identify and report system risksQualifications: 3+ years experience using Cognos Analytics 11+Bachelor's degree in a related field desiredMust be certified at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, or other certification satisfying DoD 8140 certification requirements)Cognos Analytics Security and Administration certification a plusStrong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationshipsExperience with Cognos Analytics 11+ and IBM InfoSphere, DataStage, and QualityStageMust have experience applying STIGsExperience creating, reviewing, and revising security documentation and artifactsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies (server 2019/2022), including Active Directory, server cert management, and IISExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM CognosExperience with ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere/DataStage servers desiredExperience with Oracle 19 databases and SQL scriptingExperience in a DoD or law enforcement environment desiredStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skills and the ability to multi-taskAble to work independently and with a teamMust be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearanceApplicants selected will be subject to a U.Sgovernment security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
