What Will I Do? You will support patients in the Newport News community by living out our mission of caring for others as we care for those we love by: Performing initial and ongoing assessments to objectively measure patients' progress Carrying out evidence-based treatments plans that engage our patients and meet their therapeutic needs Collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team comprised of Nursing, Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapists to provide great care with compassion Supervise COTA's and Home Health Aides How Will Riverside Invest In Me? Qualifications Education Bachelors Degree, Occupational Therapy (Required) or Masters Degree, Occupational Therapy (Required) or Doctoral Degree, Occupational Therapy (Required) Experience 1 year Occupational Therapy experience (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications License Occupational Therapy (OT) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) and CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required) Drives personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job Valid Drivers License Required To learn more about being a team member with Riverside Health System visit us at https://www.riversideonline.com/careers.
