The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on complex healthcare regulations, including the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.Duties:Provide expert legal counsel on healthcare regulatory compliance matters, including the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.Analyze healthcare regulatory, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse issues to develop strategies and solutions.Handle payor audits and assist clients in responding to audit requests.Assist in healthcare fraud investigations and provide support in electronic discovery.Conduct legal research and analysis to provide clients with well-reasoned advice.Prepare legal documents and reports related to healthcare compliance.Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and compliance standards.Requirements:2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance.Strong academic credentials, demonstrating a solid legal foundation.Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex healthcare regulations.Ability to work both independently and as part of a legal team.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in the state of New York.Skills:In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance.Legal research, analysis, and strategy development.Strong written and verbal communication.A detail-oriented and organized approach to work.Ability to handle complex legal issues and provide effective solutions.Familiarity with electronic discovery processes.
