What You Will Do:This position plans, supervises, and executes audits of processes and controls per the annual internal audit plan.What We're Looking For:Job Duties and Responsibilities:*Develop a solid understanding of the Company's financial, operational, and compliance processes and controls and related information systems*Coordinate and execute internal audits with co-sourcing partners, external auditors, Loss Prevention, and Compliance*Assist IA Manager with the development of the annual internal audit plan, schedule, and budgets (financial and hours)*Assist IA Manager with the development and implementation of audit programs and procedures and sampling methodologies*Plan and execute financial, operational, compliance, and information systems audits using a risk-based methodology*Perform interviews and walkthroughs; document processes and related controls through flowcharts and narratives*Analyze data gathered to assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls by performing audit procedures and make appropriate recommendations for remediation of any identified control deficiencies*Based on audit findings, evaluate and recommend improvements for the effectiveness of risk management, internal control, and governance processes*Prepare written reports and oral presentations to communicate the results of audit and consulting projects to management*Review audit work performed by staff as needed*Participate in risk assessments and the development and ongoing monitoring of an ERM program*Participate in the development and ongoing monitoring of business continuity and disaster recovery programs*Maintain a high level of integrity and professional ethics; assist the company's leadership with monitoring the organization's ethics.Revised February 2023*Lead by example in following the Company Code of Business Conduct (Ethics) and other policies and procedures.*Represent Internal Audit on organizational project teams.*All other assignments and special projects as neededAdditional Requirements:*Familiarity with IIA Professional Standards*Ability to self-motivate & work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems, analyze, plan and lead and manage audits and projects*Ability to work collaboratively, both cross-functionally and cross-departmentally*Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage projects, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment*Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting information and ideas and responding to questions from co-workers, vendors, clients, and customers*Must be able to format data presentation/recommendations in a meaningful way to all levels of the organization*Data and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy*Demonstrate sound judgment by making effective decisions and being able to support decisions with facts and details*Ability to navigate independently to travel domestically, between 10 to 20% of the time*Proactively assist others.
