A busy, established ophthalmology practice located in beautiful coastal Virginia is looking for a second full time comprehensive ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist. The practice was established in 1999 and has one large primary office location. There is no traveling to multiple satellite offices. There are busy clinic and surgery schedules with the option of two surgical centers; one located next to the practice. Senior physician owner, close to retirement, looking to turn all surgical volume over to new partner. The facility is state of the art with all current equipment, an onsite laser suite for Laser Vision Correction, a large optical shop with two licensed opticians. There is an excellent referral base and draws from adjacent cities with a population of almost one million. Hampton Roads, Virginia is a vibrant and growing area. It is a beautiful waterfront area with easy access to the Chesapeake Bay. The magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley are within two hours. Larger cities such as Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D.C. are within one to three hours. The Outer Banks of North Carolina are within two hours. There is an ease to commuting without the traffic of dense urban areas. The York County School Division has been awarded as one of the best school districts in the Nation.
