Job Summary: The Assistant Corporate Controller is under the direct supervision and direction of the Corporate Controller of Care Advantage, Inc . Working in a team environment, the Assistant Corporate Controller handles a variety of tasks in producing and analyzing the monthly financial statements. This position adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations. This position promotes and supports the Company's core values of C ompassion, a positive A ttitude, R espect and E xcellence. Essential Job Responsibilities: Supervising corporate payroll and accounts payable departments Managing and working with the accounting team to complete monthly closings of consolidated companies Preparing monthly consolidated and subsidiary financial statements Preparing and processing journal entries Reviewing branch performance Adhering to a strict closing schedule Assisting in the annual audit process Preparing weekly reports for company management Providing analysis and research as needed to ensure accurate financial information Participate in acquisition integration activities, as appropriate Assisting in special projects and activities, as assigned Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Experience in managing and providing leadership to a financial team Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, specifically working in general ledger Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred ADP experience preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Flexible scheduling to meet changing closing deadlines Strong Excel skills Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization Locations: 23112, 23235, 23238, 23114 Job Posted by ApplicantPro
