Job Title: Mechanical Test Engineer (Mechanical Shock Class) Location: Dahlgren, VA Duties: The training shall address the following topics, at a minimum: Introduction Mechanical Shock Common Shock Environments Single Degree-of-Freedom System Overview Shock Response Spectrum Shock Testing Shock Test Specifications Design for Shock Temporal and Energy Methods Shall travel in performance of this contract. The training is to provide students the materials and knowledge to understand mechanical shock. Education & Certifications: Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Qualifications: Advanced verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a class environment, present and explain Mechanical Shock.
