Our clients consist of grocery chains, theme parks, convenience stores, and quick service restaurants across the United States. (HEB, Food City, Busch Gardens, Biscuitville, Cowboy Chicken, and Murphy's USA) Finance Manager This role has blended functions and responsibilities tied to financial analysis and accounting, He/She will be overseeing a team of (3) three and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Essential Functions Takes responsibility for accurate and timely revenue recognition, ensuring accurate customer invoicing process is compliant with existing diverse billing practices. Serves as day-to-day lead for Accounting team, develops technical and process skills. Oversees month-end closing process, prepares monthly financial statements and analysis of performance. Leads continuous improvement in accounting processes and in adoption of the new ERP (Infor) system. Works with CFO and leadership team to prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts. Serves as a liaison between Finance group and other business units. Performs ad hoc research and analysis as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Skills and Abilities Ability to execute tasks with keen attention to detail. Ability to learn software and assemble data tools quickly. Strong analytical capabilities. Expertise with data analysis, financial presentations, and enjoys using Microsoft Excel. Good organizational skills with the ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple demands. Strong communication and leadership skills. Proven success in building effective business partnerships at multiple organizational levels. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required in Finance and/or Accounting. (MBA, CMA is a plus.) Minimum 7 years in Finance and Accounting management required, with specific experience in areas comprising the essential functions above. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites; advanced knowledge of Excel. You are conscientious to the point of leaning toward perfectionism as you understand success in this role is all in getting the details accurate. You are quick on your feet and capable of adjusting and solving problems quickly and efficiently, while at the same time, being careful to follow compliance protocols. Above all, you are dependable and able to stay on schedule to meet deadlines with high quality work.
