Requirements: Secret Clearance Job Summary: Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL) provides flight test engineering, programmatic, and administrative support to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and is the cognizant authority for Test and Evaluation (T&E) with participation in all phases of the air weapon systems life cycle management for manned and unmanned fixed wing, rotary wing, aerial and lighter-than-air vehicles. This position provides aircraft and aircrew scheduling and coordination lead for scheduling support for the platform team. Education and Experience: High school graduation or GED equivalency certification required Experience in air operations, aircrew and aircraft scheduling, data collection, flight planning, data and records management within the last 5 years Experience within the last 5 years managing the internal and external resources to meet flight schedule requirements Flight planning experience within the last 5 years should include single and multi-ship aerial refueling operations, low level navigation and airspace coordination. Essential Duties: Manage and supervise administrative aspects and contractor personnel who are involved in scheduling operations for squadrons Compile and prepare the daily flight schedules Coordinate aircraft schedules with the Platform Coordinators and other organizations requesting services of support aircraft Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: Well versed in oral and written forms of communication Knowledge of aircrew functions and qualification requirements Knowledgeable on government publications, messages and instructions Proficient with Flight Information Scheduling and Tracking system (FIST) for scheduling and tracking qualifications, or a comparable government and commercial computer-based flight planning tool.
