If you can dream it, Oliver can do it! We think outside the Box ...and Print beyond! Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced, and accurate Quality/Safety Monitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will work within the manufacturing plant and be responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing folding-carton process, by applying the quality and safety plan for each specific department (Press Room, Die Cutting, Folding Gluing). Ensuring that the product meets legal compliance and customer requirements/specifications. If you want to be part of a people-centered great family culture company, do not hesitate to apply! Responsibilities Inspects incoming raw material, reviews setup and make-ready, in-process sampling, and final quality acceptance sampling. Assist in implementing GMPs. Aiding the Quality Manager to guide and train production staff. Assist in maintaining SQF requirements. Assist in continuous improvement projects. Train, track/audit new and existing employees in safety and environmental policies and practices. Provide advice and corrective action concerning all city, state, and federal compliance regulations. Maintain and update company safety programs. Investigate incidents, monitor medical care for workers' comp incidents. Assist in conducting (leading) safety inspections, meetings, and training programs. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent One to three years' experience of quality standards in manufacturing. Knowledge and experience relative to Quality standards (ISO 9001) Knowledge and experience relative to Environmental standards (ISO 14001) Ability to read, write and communicate with others in English. Working knowledge of quality tools and equipment. Ability to deal with standard situations with occasional changes and to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Corrected 20-20 vision and the ability to distinguish colors and other printing and folding carton non-conformances. Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
